Whether you are new to yoga or more experienced, practicing breathwork can have numerous physical, psychological, and spiritual benefits to improve overall health and well-being.
Though you may have heard your yoga teacher mention countless times to breathe, what does that mean for your yoga practice? Yogic breathwork (pranayama) can increase your lung capacity, promote healthy digestion, calm the nervous system, and reduce stress.
In this workshop we will explore 6 different pranayama techniques. The theory of each technique will be presented and practiced. There will be an emphasis on experiencing each pranayama and discussion. The workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to implement breathwork in your yoga practice.
