Yin yoga is a slow paced style of yoga with asanas (poses) that are held for longer periods of time. Yin postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body such as the tendons, fascia, and ligaments, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
A more meditative approach to yoga, its goals are awareness of inner silence, stillness and getting to your “edge” in the pose. Join Mary-Heather for this wonderful 2-hour practice and come away feeling wonderfully relaxed and at ease in your body.
