You will enter a peaceful and quiet environment where you will find yourself settled in for a journey of sound and vibration. We will begin together with some gentle movement to get our bodies ready for a state of relaxation. We will then collectively dive into some easeful meditation and breathwork practices before finding a final shape for deep rest. Typically, a sound bath will involve lying in a reclining position, however should you feel called to sit for the practice you are most welcome to bring something to support yourself. A sound therapy journey is a powerful tool to surface stored emotions in the body. This deep practice takes you in alpha, theta, and delta brainwaves to access the unconscious mind. Whatever emotions come forward are what you are ready to release. As you release blockages may help you to feel lighter, peaceful, and loving.
What to bring:
- Comfortable clothing. There will be gentle movement.
- Yoga mat or thin camping mat – I like the 1″ inflatable kind for extreme comfort!
- A small pillow for your head
- A light blanket to cover yourself
- A bolster for your knees
- An eye mask or pillow
- A journal if you feel called to record anything after the session.
Think nest – anything that you would like to feel as comfortable as possible!
Workshop must be booking on the Student Portal.
