Saif has been practicing Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) since the 1980’s and has been a student at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute & Research Center in India. As a practitioner of the Vipassana meditation technique he is convinced that asana and pranayama are critical components in consolidating the meditative practice.
After completing the Yoga Teacher Training at Sivananda Ashram, in Quebec, as a resident student, he is eager to share his experience. The technique is unique in many ways; it is based on the Vedanta philosophy, combining elements of Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa flow to include dynamic movements and static postures. Frequent relaxation between postures provides an unhurried mood during and after practice; it is based on safe progression minimizing injury.
Saif is on his journey to complete the next steps in Advanced Teacher Training and wants to advance his knowledge in physiology.
