Liz started her yoga journey over 20 years ago, watching Rodney Yee VHS tapes on her classroom TV.  A life-long learner and lover of movement, Liz has certifications in yoga (her yoga teacher training was from Mountain Goat!), personal training, group fitness, spinning, and is also an Ontario Certified Teacher in physical education.   In her yoga classes, Liz likes to focus on having her students find their “comfortable discomfort”, which she believes is the sweet spot for growth, which is always unique from person-to-person, and often day-to-day.  Liz balances focus and humour to create a fun and supportive class environment.  In her spare time, she can usually be found stand up paddle boarding or running. As an Anishinaabe/Metis woman, Liz would like to acknowledge that the City of Ottawa is on the traditional, unceded territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin Nation, the original keepers and defenders of the Ottawa River watershed and its tributaries.
