I became a member of the MGY community in 2008. Suffering from lower back pain for years, a physiotherapist suggested I try yoga to build my core strength to alleviate the pain. I started attending a class once a week but in less than a month, I was coming three times a week, then gradually five times a week. I was and am hooked! Yoga has given me such positive physical and mental benefits, building my strength and flexibility. Wanting to learn more about yoga and to improve my practice, I completed the 200 hour yoga teacher training here at MGY.
