I love the sense of connection that yoga brings – to oneself, family, friends, community and everything in this universe. My mat has become a place to feel again and cultivate a sense of love, compassion, trust, curiosity, and safety, so that I can go out into the world with presence and lightness.
While I came to the mat to heal my body from years of competitive sports, I was propelled on a journey to heal the mind and soul too! I hope to support you on your journey, wherever you are (we are all exactly where we are meant to be), to create a space where you can connect with yourself, get to know your body, mind and soul, and go back out into the world and flourish.
My style of teaching has a strong foundation in anatomy and alignment after having completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training, which focused on ashtanga and vinyasa-style yoga. After years of practicing meditation and completing a 60hr Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training, I also like to encourage students to get curious about the mind-body connection. I love to incorporate practices to balance the nervous system, drawing on Qigong, somatic experiencing exercises, pranayama and meditation.
I can’t wait to see you on the mat and be by your side through this amazing practice!
