Although Yoga was introduced to me by my high school dance instructor in my youth, it wasn’t until my pregnancy years later that the practice truly came to life for me. I wanted to have a holistic pregnancy, and yoga was a big part of that. Through this journey, I discovered the far reaching benefits of yoga as it helped in my physical recovery, as well as the emotional, cognitive and spiritual healing; It was through this wonderful experience of birthing my beautiful son that I wanted to become a teacher, so that I could facilitate this wonderful experience with other expectant moms and new parents.

Following my 200 YTT, I quickly embarked in Prenatal & Postnatal training as well as continuing my education with CAISH (Center for Ayurveda and Indian Healing Systems). I am also proud to host a “Baby & Me Yoga” series with the Ottawa Community Health Center making yoga accessible in the community.

My son once asked me, “when will you be done learning?” and I replied, “hopefully never.” My thirst for knowledge is never ending, as I consider myself a student of life. So if we ever meet in class together, let’s learn together, so we can grow together.
