Jelena

Curiosity first brought me to yoga in 2008 and gradually evolved into a deeper search for balance and calm amid a demanding corporate career. What started as a personal practice soon became a lifelong calling.

I completed my 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in 2017, followed by 300 hours of advanced training including Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Nidra in 2020. My curiosity about the therapeutic potential of yoga led me to an intensive 862-hour Yoga Therapy program (completed in 2025), a training rooted in the yoga teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya with an emphasis on nervous system regulation, integrative health, and individualized practice. I bring this perspective to my teaching through practices that support self-awareness and improved well-being.

I’ve had the joy and opportunity of living and working internationally across three countries – Canada, France, and Denmark—where I’ve got to share yoga and mindful movement in various communities and corporate wellbeing settings, while also supporting individuals through personalized yoga practice.

My classes draw from traditional yoga teachings and blend mindful sequencing with an emphasis on breath, grounding, mindfulness, and mental clarity. I aim to create a welcoming, safe, and supportive space where students can reconnect with themselves, move with awareness, and cultivate greater balance in their lives.
