Leah adopted yoga as a way of life when she was desperate to recover from painful inflammation in her foot. Yoga helped her become more aware of the connection between mind, body and spirit. Practicing mindfulness and cultivating self-awareness was crucial to her healing. Through her journey, she discovered that her yoga practice was also a major tool in managing her issues with anxiety. She learned to breathe through her struggles and accept them as challenges.
Leah loves to inspire others to understand the importance of self-care and yoga. She focuses on instilling confidence, self-awareness and strength in her students. At Leah’s yoga classes, you can expect to have fun! She has a big sense of humor and it often comes out during class.
Leah has been teaching yoga classes in and around her local community of Manotick, Ontario, since early 2017 and has been practicing yoga since 2011.
Leah is a 200 hour certified Yoga Teacher specializing in Yin and Power Yoga, a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) with the Yoga Alliance and an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC).
